AWESOME product!!!!!!! I have been using this since I brought my baby home from the hospital & she is now 2 years old. It doesn't sting their eyes, its all natural and smells so nice. I highly recommend this soap & the sunscreen as well. Great company, great products!!!

So granted I am one of those mothers that reads all the ingredients and researches stuff till the end of earth, but I am quite satisfied with the product. I used to use Johnson and Johnson baby stuff until of course Environmental Working Group published an exhaustive list of baby products that had questionable ingredients. I am not saying all that this is the best brand out there, but I am hooked.
I do feel that the body wash is exceptionally gentle. I used it too sometimes because my skin is a bit sensitive and I haven't had the same luck with J&J baby line, Dove, Pears and other supposedly gentle soaps. I have also tried handmade soaps and this is even more gentle than that. I can say that because my skin starts to burn if the stuff is not gentle. The baby loves it and so do I.
The only wish is I hope California Baby eventually makes a bar soap so that there is less wastage of the product. The only CON - it is expensive, but so worth it.

I was given this as a gift before my daughter was born, and I have just recently run out. My daughter is 2. Okay, I have used some other shampoos along the way (Aveeno, Burts Bees, Mustela...other gifts) but this has been the primary. I just ordered more as I am expecting another child in September, and this will be the only shampoo/bodywash that I plan to use with my children from here on out. Nice smell, gentle, tear free. I love all the California Baby products that I've used (diaper area wash, powder, calendula cream, calming cream, bubble bath, massage oil, sunblock), and highly recommend!

while it is very very green (as in green products) it also runs (for my budget) a bit too expensive.
while it is nice, i dont love it. i'm not passionate about it enough to buy it again.
the smell is nice.
i am doing what i can do to be green, and to be on a budget. and as everyone said this lasts FOREVER, i thought hey then a great investment.
but, it doesn't last forever.
and for the money, i would much rather buy LUSH products (solid shampoos, bottled shampoos) then this. a solid shampoo will last a lot longer than this will. LUSH products are not tear free, so be aware of that...

I used to use Johnson&Johnson shampoo which made my daughter's hair so dry. After I switched to California baby Calming Baby Shampoo and Body Wash it showed me the difference from the first wash. Great product!
