Love this comb-I bought is for the love of my hair..I had my plastic combs for years, but you should switch them out yearly, as the hair will wear nicks into them, which in turn will make your hair break and give it that frizzy look. Also wooden combs help distribute your natural oils throughout your hair. The combs do well in water also as I comb through my hair while in the shower as it shampoo and condition. So, no worries about keeping them clean. Even thought they are sturdy, these combs will break if you sit on them or place heavy items on them in your purse, so treat them with some forethought.
